Recipe - HEINZ HEINZ WHITE SAUCE
DR-1137 HEINZ WHITE SAUCE
 
Ingredients
Heinz White Sauce 1 can
Chicken 200gm
Onion (medium) 1 piece
Carrot (medium) 1 piece
Potato (medium) 2 pieces
Mushrooms to your liking
Milk 250cc
Salad oil, salt and pepper to taste

1. Peel onion, carrot and potato skins. Cut chicken and all vegetables to bite sizes.
2. Season chicken with a little salt and pepper. Pour some oil into a frying pan and stir fry the chicken using strong fire. Add the onion and carrot. Stir fry with medium fire.
3. Transfer ingredients into a pot and pour in 200cc of water. Cook over medium flame for 10 minutes.
4. Add in Heinz White Sauce, milk (150cc), potatoes and mushroom. Stir occasionally, taking care that the ingredients do not get burnt. Cover with lid and cook for 20 minutes.
5. When all the ingredients are cooked soft, add in the rest of the milk (100cc) and cook over small flame for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

*You may wish to add some butter or fresh cream if you prefer a thicker texture.
**To add colour to your dish, you may also wish to add cooked broccoli or asparagus.
- If you find that the white sauce in the can is difficult to dissolve, you can add a bit of hot water.
- Cooking time varies due to amount of ingredients or types of utensils used so please keep watch on the fire.
