Recipe - *DR-1142 OTAFUKU TAKOYAKI SAUCE (OCTOPUS BALL SAUCE)
 
 
DR-1142 OTAFUKU TAKOYAKI SAUCE
Makes 60 Takoyaki Balls

Ingredients - Takoyaki Flour (DR-5041) 300gm Water 900cc
Egg 2 Octopus 100gm
*To your liking, you may wish to add 150gm combination of cabbage. Leek, tenkasu (fried flour dough), ginger.

1. In a bowl, mix flour, egg and water. When adding water, divide it into 2 to 3 portions and add slowly. (By adding all at a go will make the mixture hard to mix).
2. Brush the takoyaki plate with salad oil. Add the mixture (1) until 4/5 of a column (half-circle). Add in octopus and your selected items*. Then, continue to add mixture to the brim of the column.
3. Once the outer layer is cooked, slowly turn over and cook the other side.
4. Once fully cooked, place on a plate. Add the takoyaki sauce and bonito flakes to your liking.
