CHICKEN SIMMERED IN RED WINE BURGUNDY STYLE
[FOR 4 SERVINGS]
CHICKEN THIGH 2 SHEETS (500 G)
ONION 1/2 PIECE (100 G)
CARROTS 1/4 (50 G)
CELERY 20 G
HEINZ DEMIGLACE SAUCE 1 CAN (290 G)
RED WINE 100 ML
WATER 100 ML
SALT LESS THAN 1 TEASPOON
PEPPER SUITABLE AMOUNT
BUTTER 15 G

WATERCRESS SUITABLE AMOUNT

1. CUT ONIONS, CARROTS AND CELERY INTO 5MM SQUARES.

2. CUT CHICKEN INTO BITE-SIZED PIECES, SPRINKLE WITH SALT AND PEPPER, AND RUB LIGHTLY.

3. HEAT THE BUTTER IN A DEEP FRYING PAN, TURN THE CHICKEN SKIN DOWN, BAKE BOTH SIDES ON HIGH HEAT UNTIL BROWNED, AND REMOVE ONCE.

4. ADD 1 INTO 3 FRYING PAN AND FRY ON MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL THE ONIONS TURN BROWN.

5. PUT 3 BACK IN, ADD RED WINE, AND SIMMER FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES TO REMOVE ALCOHOL.

6. ADD WATER AND DEMIGLACE SAUCE AND BRING IT TO BOIL, AND THEN SIMMER OVER LOW HEAT FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES.

7. SERVE ON A PLATE AND TOPPING WITH WATERCRESS.
