Recipe - DR-3239 ORIENTAL MARS CURRY (CURRY POWDER AND CHUTNEY)
How to make Oriental MARS* Curry (serves 5)
*MARS means Mango Apple Raisin Spice for the attached chutney feature.
  • Ingredients
meat (150g), carrots (1 small, 100g), potatoes (1 medium, 150g), onions (1 medium, 220g), vegetable oil or butter (1-2 tablespoons)
  • How to make
1. Heat vegetable oil (or butter) in a thick-bottomed pot, fry the meat and vegetables cut into bite-sized pieces, add 750ml of water and Maas Chutney, and simmer well.
 
2. When it's boiling, turn off the heat, sprinkle in the curry roux, dissolve it thoroughly, and simmer again on low heat.
